LATE FEE & DISCONNECTION UPDATE

In March 2020, the City of Hutto suspended late fees and disconnections for non-payments of utility services to assist residents and businesses experiencing financial hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Normal billing for utility services, including the assessment of late fees and disconnections for non-payments, resumed January 1, 2021. Late fees will only apply to bills that are past-due beginning January 1, 2021.

As our community continues to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, we urge customers experiencing financial hardship to contact us at 512-759-4055 so we can work together to find a payment plan and assistance options. The City has taken steps to ensure customers experiencing financial hardships get immediate utility bill help. The utility billing office processes billing for water, sewer and garbage services, collects payment for all services and processes request for new and transferred service connections for both residential and commercial accounts. With the exception of trash services for commercial accounts contact Al Clawson Disposal for trash services. Al Clawson Disposal will bill and setup trash services for all commercial accounts.

Please allow 1-2 business days for a service request initiation. Service requests received after 4PM Monday - Friday, excluding city holidays will be processed the following business day.
Service can be activated Monday - Friday, excluding city holidays. Service will be activated between the hours of 8AM and 5PM.
