The City of Hutto Financial Services Department was awarded the Silver Level Award for Fiscal Transparency by the State of Texas Comptroller. THE CITY OF HUTTO PROPOSED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 4.140% PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $16.67.
The City of Hutto will hold a public meeting to vote on the Tax Rate on September 3, 2020 at 7:00 PM at City Hall, 500 West Live Oak Street, Hutto Texas 78634.
