The City of Hutto Alarm Permit ordinance has recently been modified. An alarm permit is no longer required. Hutto Police will continue to respond to all alarm calls as usual.
Alarm Administrator
The Alarm Administrator is charged with the responsibility to track frequent false alarms and other problems associated with alarm responses. Read more on false alarms and how to prevent them via the False Alarm Reduction Association website. The Alarm Administrator also contacts alarm owners for reimbursement of costs to the City of Hutto in the case of frequent false alarms.
